Swedish health care product manufacturer Mölnlycke is eyeing a $7 million expansion in Wiscasset or Brunswick that it says could add another 10 to 30 employees to the company in the next five years.
The Times Record reported the company is seeking a 20-year tax increment financing deal from Wiscasset for a possible 32,000-square-foot expansion to the Rynel facility it purchased there in 2005. The paper reported the company is also eyeing an expansion plan at Brunswick Landing in Brunswick, where the company is scheduled to open a new facility this year.
The paper reported the expansion plan for Brunswick would involve constructing a new building on property there where an existing tax increment financing deal could be expanded.
