The nonprofit Maine People’s Resource Center has moved its guide to the Maine Legislature online, ceasing its print publication.
The online guide, at citguide.org, has profiles of each Maine legislator and includes their ratings from a number of organizations, including the MPRC, the National Federation of Independent Business and other interest groups.
MPRC communications director Mike Tipping wrote in an email that other portions of the print guide would be moved online over the coming months and that mobile applications and other additions would aim to make the guide more accessible.
The MPRC is a sister organization of the left-leaning Maine People’s Alliance. The MPRC does public polling research in addition to publishing its guide to the Legislature.
