The Maine Technology Institute board of directors yesterday approved more than $150,000 in seed grants to 15 Maine technology companies, according to a press release from MTI.
Seed grants of up to $12,500 are awarded six times a year to fund product development and business planning, and require a 1-to-1 match of funds. This round of grants includes more than $220,000 in private matching funds, according to the release.
