The past several weeks have ushered in some personnel movement at Mainebiz.
Managing Editor/Digital Editor Will Hall departed for the Boston Business Journal — a move that kicked off a wave of change.
Alexis Wells, who had been a reporter, stepped into the Digital Editor role. She will continue to put together the Friday Food Insider.
Renee Cordes will become Deputy Editor, while continuing to write. The title really reflects what she has already been doing. She is invaluable in brainstorming ideas for stories as well as events, speakers, structural changes and so on. She’ll continue to write for the Daily Report and the print edition, including handling the On the Record Q&As.
We are bringing on a Staff Writer, Tina Fischer, who has been a Mainebiz freelancer for more than a decade. She understands both the Mainebiz audience and our mission. She’ll take over the Thursday Real Estate Insider and the Building Business column, and will contribute to both the Daily Report and print editions.
