New hires
InterMed, an independent, physician-owned practice in Portland, hired Premalatha Babu and Kelly Horsley. Babu will be based out of South Portland. Horsley will be based in Portland. Both are board-certified in family medicine.
Andwell Health Partners, a Lewiston care provider formerly known as Androscoggin Home Healthcare & Hospice, hired Christian Bartholomew as chief human resource officer. Previously, Andwell was chief human resources officer at Tenet Health.

Rinck Advertising in Lewiston hired Lynn Wassmeras as paid social media manager; Samantha Habayeb and Emily Broadbent as senior account managers; and April Dlugokeski as senior project manager.
cPort Credit Union in Portland hired Jevaun Quinn as compliance and audit program manager.
Murray Plumb & Murray, a law firm in Portland, hired Justin Clark to serve “of counsel” in the firm’s employment law practice and Kristin Hebert-Grande as an associate in its estate planning practice.
Atlantic Hospitality in Kennebunkport hired Justin Grimes as managing partner, Caroline Meyer DeBruyckere as corporate director of marketing and Andrea Weissing as corporate director of revenue management and distribution. Grimes was previously regional managing director for EOS Hospitality, DeBruyckere was director of marketing for The Westin Portland Harborview and Weissing was revenue director for AKA Hotels and Residences.
Keller Williams Realty in Maine in Portland hired Andrea Page and Kevin Fletcher as co–team leaders and Corey Lynn Morton as director of agent services.
Bar Harbor Bank & Trust hired Alicia Napolitano as vice president, senior treasury sales officer in Portland. Napolitano was previously senior corporate services officer at Bangor Savings Bank.
Promotions
Rinck Advertising in Lewiston promoted Yany Av to senior UX/UI designer and Sarah Bird to associate creative director of content, culture and innovation.
Portland-based cPort Credit Union promoted Mandy Hill to marketing and community coordinator and Sophia Giancotti to manager of marketing and communications.
The city of Portland’s Health and Human Services Department promoted Bridget Rauscher to public health director. Rauscher previously held the position on an interim basis.
The city of Auburn promoted Eric Cousens to executive director of public services and Stephen Almquist to deputy chief of the Auburn Fire Department. Cousens was previously director of planning, permitting and code while Almquist was EMS coordinator.

IDEXX Laboratories Inc., a provider of veterinary diagnostics and software in Westbrook, promoted Andrew Emerson to CFO, effective June 1, 2025. Emerson, who will take over for Brian McKeon, currently serves as senior vice president of finance for corporate and for the company’s companion animal group division.
Franklin Savings Bank in Farmington promoted Pam Dixon to executive vice president, CFO. Dixon has served in various capacities for the bank during the past 17 years.
Appointments
Southern Maine Agency on Aging in Biddeford added Ben Jenkinson, Allison Kusel and Craig Lennon to its board of directors. Jenkinson is vice president of marketing customer experience and insights at Martin’s Point Health Care, Kusel is vice president of long-term care claims and wellness at UNUM and Lennon is co-owner of CarePatrol of Maine.
Achievements

Educate Maine named Laurie Lachance as its “Weston L. Bonney Education Leadership Award” winner. Lachance recently retired as president of Thomas College in Waterville.
Haley Ward Inc., an employee-owned professional engineering, architecture, environmental, planning, BIM and surveying consulting firm in Bangor, said it received “Maine Engineering Excellence Awards” for Maine Medical Center, Malone Family Tower and Katahdin Woods and Waters National Monument, Tekαkαpimək Contact Station from the American Council of Engineering Companies of Maine.
Atlantic AV in Brunswick announced that it has been designated as Maine’s first “Control4 Certified Showroom.”
Maine Outdoor Brands announced the recipients of its “2024 Trailblazer Awards.” The Maine Association of New Americans and Maine Appalachian Trail Land Trust won the “Outdoor Brand Collaboration of the Year Award;” Survue the “Outdoor Innovation of the Year Award;” Pete Didisheim, Natural Resources Council of Maine, the “Outdoor Industry Leader of the Year Award;” and Carolann Ouellette, director of tourism, film and outdoor recreation at the Maine Office of Tourism, received a special recognition award.
Sheridan Construction in Fairfield received a national award from the Metal Building Contractors & Erectors Association for its partnership with Thomas College in Waterville on Sukeforth Family Sports Center project.
The University of Maine at Augusta announced that it won three awards at the National Association of Student Personnel Administrators Region I annual conference. The university’s Trail Blazer Workshop Series earned the state “Program of the Year” award; Benjamin Bucklin, a student services coordinator in the UMA Office of Academic and Career Advising, received the “Doris Michiko Ching Excellence in Student Affairs Award;” and Zach Rollins, a student in the computer information-systems program, won the “Catch a Rising Star Award.”
AARP Maine in Portland named Age-Friendly South Portland as its “Beacon Community Award” winner; Jessica Linzer Simpson, AARP Maine advocacy volunteer, captured the “Steadfast Advocate Award;” and Healthy Peninsula in Blue Hill received the “Champion in Aging Award.”
