Rudman Winchell, a law firm in Bangor, hired Daniel Pulaski and William Nealley. Pulaski will practice in the firm’s real estate and transactions group while Nealley will practice in its corporate and business practices group.
Fontaine Family, an Auburn real estate firm, hired Ryan Smith as a licensed sales agent.
Haley Ward Inc., an engineering consulting firm in Bangor, hired Jeri Spurling as a senior project architect, Benjamin Kaiman as a project manager, Hannah Peasley as an engineer in its environmental division, Thomas Archambault as an electrical engineer and Amy Clark as marketing and communications coordinator in its Bangor office. Northern Light Health in Brewer hired Hugh Jones as senior vice president and chief strategy officer. Jones was previously vice president of strategy and managed care for Central Maine Healthcare.

Saco & Biddeford Savings Institution promoted Eric Doyon to senior vice president, manager of business loans and services; Jeff St. Laurent to senior vice president, retail lending manager; Chad Boucher to vice president, financial operations manager; and Mike Gauthier to assistant vice president, information technology manager.

Harmon is an assistant vice president and legal counsel in Unum’s employment law group, Wood is vice president and portfolio manager at R.M. AARP Maine in Portland selected Carl Bucciantini to serve as volunteer state president.
Bigelow Laboratory for Ocean Sciences in East Boothbay added Mark Abbott, Peter Handy, Randall Jeffery and Dimitri Michaud to its board of trustees. Abbott most recently served as president and director of Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution and is now president emeritus, Handy is president and CEO of Bristol Seafood in Portland, Jeffery works in radio station mergers and acquisitions and Michaud is COO at Gorham Savings Bank.
Thomas College in Waterville announced that David Pease has joined its board of trustees. Pease is senior vice president and director of talent, diversity and inclusion at Bangor Savings Bank.

The Bone Health and Osteoporosis Foundation named U.S. Sen. Susan Collins, R-Maine, as its inaugural “Congressional Bone Health Champion Award” winner.
Northern Light Mercy Hospital in Portland said it earned the Joint Commission’s “Gold Seal of Approval” for the care of patients undergoing spine surgery and hip and knee replacements.
