Maine Children’s Home in Waterville hired Daniel Booth as executive director. Booth, a former board president and longtime board member with the nonprofit, had been serving in an interim role since February.
The Maine Redevelopment Land Bank Authority in Augusta hired Scott LaFlamme as executive director. LaFlamme will step down as Yarmouth town manager at the end of June.
Promotions
Maine Community Bank in Portland promoted Matt Early to chief commercial officer. Early was previously senior vice president and director of commercial banking.
Cumberland County Federal Credit Union promoted Ryan Grund to president and CEO, effective July 1. Grund has served as CEO since 2013.
Kennebec Savings Bank in Augusta promoted Michelle Labonte to senior vice president and chief loan officer and Ian McCarthy to regional vice president and director of commercial banking. Labonte was previously senior vice president and senior residential lender while McCarthy was vice president and commercial banking officer in Freeport.

Federal Reserve Bank of Boston appointed Betsy Biemann, CEO of Coastal Enterprises Inc. in Brunswick, to its New England Community Development Advisory Council. The council includes members of the private, public and nonprofit sectors who advise the president of the Boston Fed on community development matters, including its challenges and barriers.
Spurwink Services, a behavioral health and education services nonprofit based in Portland, announced that Catherine Ryder, senior director of strategic initiatives, was appointed by Gov. Janet Mills to the Maine Substance Use Disorder Services Commission.

UDisc included seven of Maine’s disc golf courses in its annual “100 Best Disc Golf Courses in the United States” and “100 Best Disc Golf Courses in the World” lists.
