A Bedford, N.H.-based real estate title and law firm has been broadening its presence in Maine.
Absolute Title and the Law Office of Matthew W. Neuman opened a temporary office in South Portland last fall, followed by its first fully staffed Maine location at 600 Southborough Drive in South Portland about a month ago.
The company announced the opening of its second Maine location, at 315 Main St. in Rockland, led by Lindsey Grant as vice president of Maine business development.
“Lindsey excels at optimizing title operations within a law firm, which is important to us as an attorney-led title company,” said Matthew Neuman, Absolute’s owner.
Grant brings experience in business operations, closings and administrative support. She is on the Mid-Coast Board of Realtors Penbay Council fundraising committee and owns Sacred Souls Alchemy, a holistic healing practice.
Absolute Title has been handling closings in Maine since 2007. Founded in 2005 in Bedford, N.H., its other Granite State offices are in Concord, Portsmouth and Conway. There’s also an office in Lowell, Mass. It has three attorneys and 43 support staffers across its seven locations.
