The Rhode Island-based Ocean State Job lot has closed its purchase of a 94,000-square-foot former Walmart building in Rockland.
The Bangor Daily News reported the sale closed Dec. 13 and calls for the company to divide the building into two units, one of which it will rent to another tenant. The new retailer plans to open its doors in Rockland in March 2014 and is expected to employ 30 to 40 workers.
