Partners for World Health

2024 Goals

Partners for World Health (PWH) continues to expand its Medical Supply

Collections throughout New England with a special focus on Boston and other

Massachusetts health care partners. PWH is expanding its Medical Supply

Program that makes medical equipment and supplies available at low or no cost to low income and new Mainers. PWH continues to expand its Container and

Shipment Programs, providing medical equipment and supplies to people in the developing world and areas of devastation and victims of war. PWH continues to expand its international volunteer opportunities with our Medical Mission Program.

Fundraising events/Opportunities

PWH offers a wide variety of events to support our work – 90% of which is conducted by volunteers. 2024 is our 15th anniversary year and we are looking for corporate sponsors for events such as our International Women’s Day; our signature event, Blue Wrap Project Runway; our International Artisan Fair; and our Global Health Education Forum.

Giving Opportunities

PWH routinely seeks funding through direct appeals and welcomes support from individuals for our annual fund, biomedical equipment fund, monthly donor programs, major and planned gifts, medical missions, intern programs, and our container shipments to those in need of humanitarian support.

Volunteer Opportunities

PWH can achieve so much with a small, dedicated staff because of the more than

150 volunteers who help in every aspect of our operations each week. We need people to drive our trucks to collect and deliver supplies. We need warehouse volunteers to sort, evaluate and pack supplies, for shipment. We need admin volunteers and medical and social work staff for medical missions. PWH is always eager to find talented connected people to help with committee, taskforce and board work. You can volunteer for a few hours or for longer periods or projects.

We can accommodate large groups and we have a strong company volunteer program that many companies utilize.
