Sebasticook Valley Hospital has hired a new CEO who will start in mid-April.
Victoria Alexander-Lane will take over for John “Jack” May, who served as president and CEO since 1999 and announced last month he would retire, according to the Morning Sentinel. Alexander-Lane comes to the 25-bed Pittsfield hospital from Salmon, Idaho, where she served as CEO of Steele Memorial Medical Center. She also served in the U.S. Naval Reserve and worked in agri-business before beginning her career in health care administration, according to the paper.
Alexander-Lane will also serve as a senior vice president at Eastern Maine Healthcare Systems, of which Sebasticook Valley Hospital is a member.
