PM Construction is building much-needed affordable housing in Biddeford

Construction is well underway on the 39-unit Adams Point affordable housing project in Biddeford.

Saco-based PM Construction broke ground on the five-story apartment building last autumn and is on schedule to complete the project in the first quarter of 2026. Pre-leasing is expected to begin this fall.

The 43,910-square-foot building is a project of MaineHousing and Southern Maine Affordable  Housing, which is the development arm of Biddeford Housing. The apartments are reserved for households with maximum income levels at 50% and 60% of the area median income, which is $69,794.

Amenities include a first floor laundry, common room and storage.

Portland-based CHA Architecture handled the building’s design. The civil engineer on the project is Oak Point Associates, which is based in Biddeford.
