Godfrey Wood, former CEO of the Portland Regional Chamber, was hired as executive director of Habitat for Humanity of Greater Portland.
The Forecaster reported Wood is set to begin the new job April 29 after stepping down in December from the chamber post he held for 15 years.
The paper reported that Wood will replace Amy Dowler, who was serving as Habitat’s interim executive director.
