Portside Real Estate Group and the Portside Foundation will celebrate a milestone of raising $1 million for Maine communities on Giving Tuesday, Dec. 3, at Goodfire Brewing at 180 S. Freeport Road in Freeport.
Over the years, the funds have been distributed to various organizations focused on everything from supporting a summer bereavement camp for children who are survivors of a loved one’s suicide to funding an outdoor recreation area, including a playground, to serve children and parents living at an emergency shelter for families.
Goodfire Brewing will donate 10% of the proceeds from the celebration to 1% Back to Maine, which Portside will match, according to a news release.
Community members, real estate agents, nonprofit organizations and volunteers and business professionals are welcome to attend the event.
