Prime Motor Group last week bought the Clair Motors dealerships in Maine, New Hampshire and Massachusetts, making it one of the largest auto sellers in Maine.
The purchase will more than double the number of employees working for Prime, from 200 to more than 500, and will increase Prime’s car dealerships to 15 in the three states, according to the Portland Press Herald. Ira Rosenberg, Prime’s owner, did not disclose a sales price.
