A survey by the Governor’s Energy Office found heating oil and kerosene prices are unchanged from two weeks ago while propane has risen 9 cents since late October.
The latest weekly survey found the average price for No. 2 heating oil remained at $3.53 per gallon. Kerosene stayed at $3.94 per gallon.
Propane, however, rose three cents higher than last week’s tally and nine cents higher than two weeks ago, to  $2.76 per gallon as of Monday.
Patrick Woodcock, director of the Governor’s Energy Office, told The Associated Press a severe short-term propane shortage in the Midwest and southern New England may be contributing to the surge in price.
