RE/MAX Shoreline, with headquarters in Portland and Portsmouth, N.H., finalized a partnership with RE/MAX Riverside, which operates from 1 Bowdoin Mill Island, Suite 101, in Topsham.
The combined office will operate as the Riverside Group, RE/MAX Shoreline.
Sue and Don Spann opened the Riverside Group in 2002. The Spanns, their team of more than 20 agents and the location will be retained to serve clients on the midcoast.
The deal extends Shoreline’s reach to four offices across three connected markets: southern Maine, midcoast Maine and seacoast New Hampshire.
The partnership offers Riverside shared marketing, finance, technology and coaching systems built across Shoreline’s network, according to a news release.
Sue Spann will continue as a broker at the Topsham office. Don Spann joined Shoreline’s commercial division.
“We’ve collaborated with the Riverside team for years, and Sue and Don have spent decades earning trust in the midcoast market,” said Derrick Buckspan, owner of RE/MAX Shoreline. “Our job is to build on that, not change it.”
“When Don and I started thinking about how to expand what we offer our agents and clients, Shoreline was the obvious partner,” said Sue Spann.
