Riding To The Top Therapeutic Riding Center

2026 Goals

Riding To The Top (RTT) is looking towards the future with plans to grow our programming in order to accommodate more clients and reduce our Wait List. We are working on growth in each our programs including adaptive/therapeutic riding, carriage driving, equine assisted learning and therapy programs (PT, OT and the addition of mental health work). Our goal for the coming year includes providing 3,800 visits annually to children and adults with disabilities through an investment in our human resources (staff and volunteers), our equine resources (building our herd to accommodate growth) and the expansion of our existing facilities.

Fundraising events/Opportunities

RTT’s largest fundraiser is the Triple B ~ Boots, Band & BBQ held each October, which raises critical funds for Rider Scholarships and our Horse Fund through a mission-based auction (and a great party). In addition to the lively auction, the Triple B offers opportunities for Business Sponsorships of the event. Sponsors receive exposure to thousands of RTT supporters through pre- and post-event promotions and during the night of the event.

RTT also has a number of smaller events which take place throughout the year. These smaller events include Ride-a-Thons, the Beach to Beacon Road Race, Giving Tuesday and a Wine Tasting. For more information visit ridingtothetop.org/events.

Giving Opportunities

Riding To The Top Therapeutic Riding Center is a private nonprofit 501(c)(3) founded and built by generous volunteers and donors. Our fees are kept as low as possible to provide access to the greatest number of clients. Gifts from individuals, corporations and foundations support 70% of RTT’s annual operations. RTT receives no federal, state or municipal funds.

We welcome donations through various charitable giving vehicles. Whether a gift is made by cash, stock, through an IRA retirement plan, a Donor Advised Fund, a matching gift through an employer, or as a planned gift, all help to provide support for RTT’s clients, horses and programs. All donations are tax-deductible as allowed by state and federal law.

Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteers are the heart of Riding To The Top. On any given week, over 60 volunteers are at the farm. Annually, volunteers contribute over 12,000 hours serving in a variety of capacities. While the majority of our volunteers assist in lessons, they also help with barn chores, facility maintenance, administrative tasks, events and committee work. Training is provided and no horse experience is required!

In addition to those who volunteer on a regular basis, RTT welcomes corporate work groups. These groups come for anywhere from a few hours to a full day of work and help us tackle some of our larger projects – fixing fencing, building trails, spring clean-up or helping to set up before (or “tear down” after) the Triple B!
