Sandy Pines Campground, a camping resort in Kennebunkport, will head to the auction block next month.
The campground, known for its glamping tents and cottages, is facing foreclosure.
At the auction, the real estate, personal property and support equipment will be "sold together as an entirety," according to Keenan Auction Co., the Portland-based company overseeing the auction.
The auction is scheduled for Thursday, March 5, at 1 p.m., on site, at 277 Mills Road/U.S. Route 9 in Kennebunkport.
Keenan Auction will hold a preview on Feb. 20 and Feb. 27, each day from noon to 2 p.m.
The auctioneer could not be reached for further comment.
The campground, which opened in 2020, is part of Atlantic Hospitality, a hotel management and design company led by Tim Harrington.
In addition to Sandy Pines Campground, the company owns and operates the Dunes in Ogunquit, the Lincoln Hotel in Biddeford, the Asticou Inn in Northeast Harbor, the Claremont Hotel in Southwest Harbor, Salt Cottages in Hulls Cove and the Wanderer in Kennebunkport.
Even as Atlantic Hospitality holdings have grown in recent years, the firm has been the subject of liens by contractors that have done work on various properties, the Bangor Daily News has reported.
