A Sanford skylight company has laid off nearly half its work force and is searching for an investor to boost its cash flow.
Earlier this month, Architectural Glazing Technologies laid off all 35 of its employees, but called 20 workers back last week as cash flow improved, according to the Associated Press. President Adrian Ayotte told the AP that work force needs are being determined on a week-to-week basis. The company was profitable and 2008 and 2009, but so far in 2010 has been struggling with cash flow problems.
The company recently added new products, including glass and steel structures for high-rise buildings, to its offerings, according to the AP.
