The federal Small Business Administration is piloting a new website listing technology-related requests-for-proposals from the “world’s largest customer”– the U.S. government.
The site, RFP-EZ, aims to give smaller technology companies access to federal government contracts. In turn, the SBA says it hopes the new initiative will give it access to a more diverse group of innovative technology startups, according to a press release.
The project was launched as a part of the Presidential Innovation Fellows program and is the first of five projects the program will launch aimed at helping entrepreneurs, small businesses and the economy, the release states.
