Summer might be a fresh memory, but in Maine, winter is not far off.
The First Tracks Northeast Snow Show is slated for early November and will focus on skiing, snowboarding, ice skating, Nordic skiing and the outdoor winter lifestyle.
The event, slated for Nov. 7-8, is being hosted by Maine Outdoor Brands and Thompson’s Point, where the event will be held inside Brick South.
At least 50 vendors and brands are expected to take part. Attendees will have the chance to see the new gear, try products and meet people from ski areas and outdoor organizations.
Exhibitors will include Sugarloaf, Sunday River, Saddleback, Pleasant Mountain, Mt. Abram, Black Mountain of Maine and Lost Valley. Outdoor brands, retailers, recreation organizations and other businesses will also be represented.
“First Tracks is about that feeling we all get when winter is just around the corner,” said Jenny Kordick, executive director of Maine Outdoor Brands. “We wanted to create an event where people who love winter can come together, discover what’s new, connect with the outdoor community and get excited about everything the season ahead has to offer.”
