Porvair, a UK-based specialty filtration and environmental technology company, says it has expansion plans for a Caribou filter factory it has acquired in a deal with Eisenmann Metallurgical LLC.
Business Weekly reported Porvair purchased the business and trading assets of Burlington, Conn.-based Eisenmann, which trades as Chand Eisenmann Metallurgical (CEM), for $5.5 million. Eisenmann’s sole production facility is located in Caribou.
Business Weekly reported CEO Ben Stocks said his company plans to invest in the Caribou plant in the next 12 months to accommodate expected growth in the company’s metals filtration market.
