The developer of a Waterville mill project is in line to buy the long-vacant Crosby School in downtown Belfast and likely convert it into housing.
Paul Boghossian, who led the multi-million redevelopment of Waterville’s historic Hathaway Mill, confirmed to the Bangor Daily News that he has a purchase-and-sale agreement for the building.
The newspaper didn’t say when the sale is expected to close, but Boghossian indicated that renovations could begin by spring of 2016. He said he would likely convert the 38,000-square-foot school into an apartment complex with 35 units at the most.
