A new Hampton Inn under construction in Bangor is expected to add 60 jobs to the city.
AME Management Group, parent company of both Hilton and Hampton Inn, hopes to open the three-story, 113-room inn on Haskell Road in May 2012, according to the Bangor Daily News. The company also plans to renovate its existing Hampton Inn on Bangor Mall Boulevard and rebrand it as a Comfort Inn.
The new Hampton Inn, across the street from the Hilton Garden Inn, received city approval in May.
