Wright Express Corp., in South Portland, today said it will acquire the assets of an Oregon fuel card company for $32 million in cash.
Wright Express, a provider of payment processing for commercial vehicle fleets, said it will purchase Salem, Ore.-based Pacific Pride Services Inc. by the end of the first quarter in 2008, according to a press release. Pacific Pride, a franchiser with more than 330 franchisees in the United States and Canada, posted $7 million in revenues last year, the release said.
Separately, Wright Express today said its revenue for the quarter ending Dec. 31, 2007, was $90.7 million, a 28% gain over its revenue from the same quarter in 2006.
