Alexis joined Mainebiz in September 2022 after getting her start in journalism at Mainely Media, covering Scarborough, South Portland and Cape Elizabeth news. At Mainebiz, she writes on all things foodie, from ice cream to seafood, for the Friday Food Insider; she also covers health care, cannabis and new hires and promotions, and is a member of the Mainebiz social media team. In 2023, she was recognized as a “Rising Star” by the Alliance of Area Business Publishers. The Saco resident earned her degree in English from the University of Southern Maine.
