Among the world's wealthiest women, MacKenzie Scott on Tuesday announced over $4 billion in charitable gifts to 384 nonprofits throughout the country.

Propeller, a collaboration between CEI Women's Business Center and Tortoise Labs, of Waterville, a free six-week program that helps female entrepreneurs with tech-enabled business ideas, counts six startups among its successes this year, and is enrolling participants for more sessions.
