Brandon Hotham has served as interim president and CEO since February. He joined the Dempsey Center in 2022 as director of client experience, was promoted to chief experience officer and then to interim president and CEO.
By offering a full range of diagnostic tests, treatments and support services under one roof, New England Cancer Specialists aims to ease some of the anxiety of the cancer experience.
The center, founded by actor Patrick Dempsey and his family, was looking for more space to provide its services and support for people affected by cancer.
New England Cancer Specialists will be the lead tenant, to be joined by the Dempsey Center, which has two other Maine locations and was founded in 2008 by actor Patrick Dempsey.
The nonprofit center, which provides people with cancer free services such as oncology education and counseling, has named Cara Valentino as its new CEO and president.
