DuraMag, a fast-growing manufacturer of aluminum truck bodies, will now provide them for an all-electric, lightweight vehicle, the Waterville company said this week.
Demand for aluminum truck bodies and accessories is so strong that DuraMag, formerly known as F3 Manufacturing, aims to expand its workforce by nearly 25% and may make further hires after that.
The Shyft Group Inc. plans to retain current workforce and management at F3, which ranked No. 3 among Maine private companies for revenue growth last year, according to the Inc. 5000 list.
