Tootie’s Tempeh, based in the Pepperell Mill, produces tempeh, a fermented soybean product, launched commercially in November 2022 after two years of development.Â
The funding will benefit organizations in Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont and New York, and reflect the foundation’s ongoing focus on combating food insecurity, supporting learning and workforce readiness and promoting healthier lifestyles.
