The market is seeing an increasing number of homes for sale, increasing time-on-market and price dips, easing competition buyers have been facing for the past five years.
Elements include a slightly off-center circle representing progress and community, green and blue tones for Maine’s natural resources and a star formed by white space.
Statewide, prices surged 7.53% in August. Maine's inventory of single-family homes for sale remains at 3.2 months, far below the six-month supply that's considered a balanced market for sellers and buyers.
Maine's median sales price continues to hit new levels. June marked a high, with a median sales price of $385,000 statewide, an increase of 6.45%. As recently as 2017, Maine's median sales price was $200,000, so we're pushing into new territory.Â
