As Maine tackles climate change and as ratepayers demand more from their utilities, recently enacted legislation can do a lot to help, writes the leader of the Mid-Maine Chamber of Commerce. But another bill could be overkill.

The Maine State Chamber has yet to name a successor to Dana Connors, who will retire as president of the organization in the coming weeks.

Events range from a scavenger hunt in Biddeford to a Sip & Shop event in Portland to support local restaurants and retailers during inaugural holiday celebrations.
