New Balance's $65 million expansion of the Skowhegan factory will double its capacity while adding 200 jobs. By the end of 2024, the footwear manufacturer will have nearly 1,000 employees at three factories in Maine.

Green Leaf Construction, of Leonminster, Mass., will lead the design and construction of a $65 million expansion of the Skowhegan New Balance factory.

New Balance’s $65 million investment will add 200 new jobs and double the factory’s production capabilities through a 120,000-square-foot factory expansion, which will be completed by the end of 2024.
