Four Maine organizations have been recognized by the Maine International Trade Center for their work to increase exports, innovation and investment in the state.
Corsair Venture Partners, led by founder and general partner Chris Wolfel, completed a first close of $3.5 million with plans to raise another $25 million by the end of the second quarter.
The funding will benefit organizations in Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont and New York, and reflect the foundation’s ongoing focus on combating food insecurity, supporting learning and workforce readiness and promoting healthier lifestyles.
The soaring seven-story structure will be the future home of Northeastern University’s Roux Institute, which is projected to welcome graduate students for the spring 2028 semester.
