A total of 143 companies have been named to this year's list of the "Best Places to Work in Maine."

In 2020, Clara Collins became part of the sixth generation to join her family’s business. The “top women” designation received a record number of nominations in 2023.

The Institute for Family-Owned Business honored a range of businesses. Winners included Kennebec Cabin Co. of Manchester, whose owners achieved worldwide fame from the "Maine Cabin Masters" reality show.
