Pulp and paper manufacturer Sappi has recently named three team members to new leadership positions, both in the Maine-based mills and across the company’s operations.

Decommissioning or removal is part of a transaction involving four dams. Paper company Sappi says Shawmut Dam’s removal would jeopardize its Skowhegan mill.
