Cafe Luna will remain open until the move to the Downs. A moving date has not been set.

Lewiston-based Hebert Construction is consolidating building time on a 61-unit affordable senior housing project on Seavey Street in Westbrook.

The Portland-based company has put shovels in the ground for its fifth facility, its first in decades, at the Downs mixed-use devekopment.

Scarborough’s recent designation as the fastest growing town in Maine, has a large faction of long-time residents urging town officials to pump the brakes on development. 

Opening day for the Bungalow, a new tap room at the Downs mixed-use development, will be Aug. 2.
