Thomas College and Gould Academy have partnered to extend professional and graduate education offerings to more than 120 employees at a discounted rate.
The Building Aspirations through Mentorship and Robotics project, supported by NASA, helps launch teams by providing a startup kit, coach training, student mentors from Thomas College and monthly on-campus workshops.
"We will continue to work with faculty moving forward to strengthen Thomas, the head of the school's board of trustees, said in a statement emailed to Mainebiz.
The program is open to both first-time college students and transfer students. Students are expected to go through the hiring process and must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 to get in and throughout the program.
