Eligible households can receive a one-time heating benefit of up to $500 if they face an emergency, according to MaineHousing.

Grants will provide up to $25,000 funding for exterior building upgrades that enhance commercial areas of the Kennebec County town. 

Of the total pledged, $1 million will come from the governor's contingency account, with the John T. Gorman Foundation contributing $250,000 to supplement food supplies for Maine households.
