2026 Community Impact Awards – OPEN NOW

Mainebiz is proud to honor nonprofit professionals and organizations that make a positive and lasting impact on the community, while celebrating the efforts of business leaders and corporations who support and collaborate with Maine’s nonprofits. The Mainebiz Community Impact Awards is presented in partnership with Maine Association of Nonprofits.

Please use the form below to nominate a person or organization in one of the following categories:
  • Corporate Champion of the Year: This award is given to a for-profit organization in recognition of its impact to a single or multiple nonprofit organizations through financial contributions, collective efforts to promote, encourage and organize fundraising efforts and company-sponsored programs and/or events engaging employees to participate in volunteerism.
  • Legacy of Service: This award celebrates a leader whose lifelong passion for service has touched countless lives. Through volunteerism, board leadership, mentorship, and generous philanthropy, they have uplifted organizations and people across our community. Their unwavering commitment to doing good stands as an example for all who follow.
  • In-Kind Services Support: A company or individual working on behalf of the company that provides pro-bono work or other in-kind services (such as materials, skills, or matched based volunteering) to a nonprofit organization to help it accomplish its mission.
  • Volunteer of the Year: This award recognizes an outstanding individual who has demonstrated exceptional commitment, leadership, and impact as a volunteer of a nonprofit organization. This award celebrates a volunteer who has gone above and beyond in their role, contributing their time, expertise, and resources to advance the mission, strengthen governance, and ensure the sustainability of the organization.
  • Nonprofit Collaboration of the Year: This award celebrates the transformative power of partnership in driving social change. This award honors outstanding collaborations between nonprofit organizations that have significantly advanced a shared mission or addressed a pressing societal need. The recipient(s) demonstrate exceptional commitment to collaboration, with an emphasis on innovative strategies, resource sharing, and measurable impact.
  • Campaign Excellence: This award recognizes a nonprofit organization that developed and executed a particularly successful capital, operational, endowment, marketing and/or advocacy campaign during the past year.
