Colby, Bates and Bowdoin colleges issued statements in response to last week's Supreme Court ruling against race-conscious admissions programs at Harvard and the University of North Carolina.

Clayton Rose, who became president in 2015, has overseen extensive growth at the Brunswick liberal arts school, including new building projects, a new capital campaign and an increase in student applications.
