Going into 2026, Bangor has upgrades to its airport, a new Y facility in the works and added life in the downtown.

The event featured a panel discussion on "60 ideas in 60 minutes," moderated by Deb Neuman, president and CEO of the Bangor Regional Chamber of Commerce.

Businesses and individuals in the Bangor region were celebrated at the chamber's annual awards event.

At the Mainebiz Breakfast Forum in Bangor six business and nonprofit leaders offered "60 ideas in 60 minutes." Here are some of those ideas.

Five business leaders will share their secrets to success, both at work and at home. The event moderator is Deb Neuman of the Bangor Region Chamber of Commerce. The panelists include the president of Junior Achievement of Maine and a dean of business at Husson University.

The event is a chance for attendees to meet the Chamber staff and board of directors. Keynote speaker will be Maj. Gen. Douglas Farnham, adjutant general for the Maine National Guard.
