Sea Bags, the Portland-based maker of totes and other accessories out of recycled sails, is now recycling fabric from the inflatable monster that sat atop the skyscraper for a week.
Donations have poured in from Portland-area businesses for the Fahrman Foundation's kickstart auction and raffle this Wednesday at Rising Tide Brewing Co.
The agreement covers the next 27 months, “long enough to capture this year’s playoffs and the next two full seasons,” Sea Bags CEO Don Oakes told Mainebiz.
Harbor Fish Market and Sea Bags are among local businesses featured in a new edition of the iconic board game, which is produced by Top Trumps USA under license from Hasbro Inc.
After opening two stores on North Carolina's Outer Banks in March, Sea Bags will open stores in three other locations, including Kittery, this spring, bringing its total to 50.
