A proposed high-performance computing hub, led by the Central Maine Growth Council, has been awarded $6.2 million  in congressionally directed spending.

The Levine's Discovery Headquarters is set to open in fall 2027 in a renovated building on the school's Waterville campus.

"There a lot of good stuff happening in Waterville," the company's president told Mainebiz as the family-owned discount retailer gets ready to open its 19th store there in April.

The park’s geography and history as a manufacturing site are some of the reasons the open space is so valued by the town of Fairfield.

The nonprofit is hosting a research fellow to develop an investment model over the coming 30 months. The goal is to grow mid-Maine’s entrepreneurial economy.
