Husson University and the University of New England have collaborated to enhance health care education and meet Maine's workforce needs for health care professionals.Â
The Cyr Opportunity Scholarship will provide students who have earned a 3.0 GPA in high school and meet other criteria a tuition-free offer to attend the Bangor school via a combination of federal, state and institutional aid.
Husson University had two reasons to celebrate over the past week, when the Bangor school received its largest-ever individual donation and inaugurated its seventh president and first female CEO.
This is the third Harold Alfond Foundation grant for the School of Technology and Innovation, which offers degrees in extended reality, computer information systems, software development and business analytics.
