More than a dozen prominent leaders from wide range of private-sector companies to nonprofits and agencies retired last year, ushering in a new wave of leadership in Maine.
Rick Schneider, who becomes president and CEO on Aug. 2, replaces Maine Public's leader of the past decade, Mark Vogelzang, who announced earlier this year he planned to step down on July 1.
