Shares of the Elmet Group Co, a Portland-based precision manufacturer with Lewiston and Gorham, debuted on the Nasdaq exchange in April.

The three-story building will have three commercial spaces for lease and will sell the upstairs units as condos, starting at $750,000. The project is expected to be ready for occupancy by this time next year.

The opportunity zone location encourages long-term holds and provides tax benefits designed to encourage investment.
