In Madison, an 18-unit affordable housing site was developed by Sam Hight, Kara Wilbur and Brian Eng. It was unveiled May 28.

Hailey Howard replaces Jason Gayne, who resigned in February 2022, and was later accused of forgery and embezzling from the Skowhegan Regional Chamber of Commerce and another organization.

Work will begin later this month to modernize the interior and exterior of the former Whit's End Grill, at 123 Madison Ave. The new location is slated to open in December.
