Construction of a new 34-duplex apartment complex in Saco is underway near Thornton Academy, on a 4.5-acre parcel in York County's only opportunity zone.
The three-story building will have three commercial spaces for lease and will sell the upstairs units as condos, starting at $750,000. The project is expected to be ready for occupancy by this time next year.
